All contestants are required to sign a contract following registration. This is to ensure that they abide by all rules, guidelines and agreements in regards to competing for Rainbow Universe Pageants. It is also to inform them of their rights and our rights to relinquish their title at any time. It is the best interest of all contestants to abide by the contents of their contract for the duration of competition. If a contestant happens to meet with circumstances that hinder them from abiding by their signed and notarized contract they will be in breach of their contract. In this case, the contestant and their parents will be notified via email and served with a "Notice of action to Relinquish Title/Crown". On this notice the contestant will be given the specific reason(s) why their crown and title are being removed from them. They will have 24 hours to view it, sign it and return it to the National Office otherwise legal action will have to be taken. The contestant will then be barred from competing in any future pageants for RUP. However, we do not just dismiss our contestants and let them go without offering them an opportunity to remain connected to our membership program for a small fee. We want all contestants, regardless of their reasons for losing their title or their reasons for being disqualified from competition or walking away from competition, to have access to all the resources and programs we provide to further their personal development and assist them in living excellent lives. We hope this doesn't happen to any of our contestants but as in life or any business things happen that cause people to lose what they have been given. We encourage all contestants and title winners to communicate any issues they may have personally or directly related to their competition right away so the correct and appropriate actions can be taken to resolve the issue or manner at hand before a relinquishment or disqualification happens.
